Thoughts
Dear Lisette, a friend of my late husband Monu Ogbe, we met before Orion and Sky were born. We shared holidays in Cyprus and more recently here in St Albans, we met often. She always held my hand, laughed and cheered me up. I will miss her.

Lizette and I met when Sky and my son Philip joined The Junior School in Nicosia. They were really close friends for many years. The photo in the gallery is a day that I will never forget! Lizette and I endured an uncomfortable night in a tent together. Followed by a morning eclipse of the sun. We laughed a lot that day. The boys had so much fun. Lizette was a great mum, she pulled out all the steps for them. I know that Orion and Sky were lucky to have such a dedicated mum.

Myself and my friends are deeply saddened by Madam Modebe’s passing. During our time at Bishop Douglass we would always spend our time speaking with her and she would always tell us story’s. She helped myself and my friends with our university applications and it would have been nice for her to see us in our chosen professional fields as two of us are professional registered nurses, lawyer and a Psychologist. Madam Modebe you will truly be missed and we will remember the kindness you showed us during our time as students in Bishop Douglass.

Madam Modebe tremendously helped my friends and I during the process of our university applications. Now, all of us had graduated and are professionals working in different fields. We will never forget your kindness that you have shown to us back when we were your students. It would have been nice if you saw the group of students that always chatting with you on your desk are now a Lawyer, Registered Nurse and a Psychologist. Thank you for being a great teacher to us.

We would always talk with Madam Modebe during our free periods in sixth form when we were all at BD and she would always tell us fun stories. We are sad to have learnt of her passing.
